1. Our Promise
At Tanakore we celebrate creativity and brand identity. That means we also protect it—ours and yours. Every listing, image, logo, or line of copy on https://tanakore.com must respect U.S. and international intellectual-property (“IP”) law. This policy explains:
- the kinds of IP we recognise,
- how to send us a takedown notice, and
- what happens after we receive it.
2. What’s Protected?
Law / Right | In Plain English | Typical Examples |
---|---|---|
Copyright | Protects original creative expression fixed in a tangible medium | product photos, blog articles, artwork, music |
Trademark | Protects distinctive words, names, symbols, or designs that identify source | the Tanakore word-mark & logo, others’ registered marks |
Publicity / Persona | Protects a real person’s name, likeness, or voice from unauthorised commercial use | celebrity photos, endorsements, avatars clearly copying a living person |
3. Need to File a Claim? Start Here ⤵
Send a Notice & Takedown Report to [email protected]
Subject line: TAKEDOWN REPORT
Your email must include:
- URL(s) of the exact content you believe infringes.
- Proof of ownership (registration certificate, dated screenshots, link to the original work on your site, etc.).
- Your contact details—full name, mailing address, phone number, and email.
- A sworn statement: “I have a good-faith belief that the use of the material described above is not authorised by the intellectual-property owner, its agent, or the law. The information in this notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, I am the owner or authorised to act on the owner’s behalf.”
- Signature (typed legal name is fine for email).
Incomplete notices may delay our response.
4. What Happens Next?
- Receipt & Review — We confirm we got your notice (usually within one business day) and examine its validity.
- Action — If the claim is credible we may remove or disable the content, and we’ll notify the uploader.
- Counter-Notice (if any) — The uploader can submit a counter-statement under the DMCA or relevant law. If that occurs, we’ll forward it to you before restoring the material.
- Follow-Up — We email you once the process is complete or if we need more information.
5. Repeat-Infringer Policy
Accounts that rack up two or more valid takedown notices—or one blatant, willful violation—may be suspended or terminated at our discretion.
6. Misuse Warning
Submitting false or bad-faith claims can result in legal liability for damages, court costs, and attorneys’ fees. Make sure you actually own the rights you say you do.
